Ruling Dated 14. 09 2010

Background:

The AEAA received a complaint on the 2nd September 2010 from Kevin Kosky of Double T's International Entertainment concerning Vanessa Feltner. The AEAA Dispute Resolution Committee have viewed all information supplied by Kevin Kosky and Vanessa Feltner, a summary of which is:

1. Vanessa Feltner engaged Double T's to supply the performer Janelle Ryan (stage name Nally Jay) for the sum of US$3200/month.
2. The contract was fulfilled and Vanessa Feltner received funds from her client for these services. 
3. Vanessa Feltner did not pay Janelle Ryan for the month of performances commencing June 20^th 2010.
4. After contact by the AEAA the sum of US$1000 was paid by Vanessa Feltner to Janelle Ryan with the assurance that the balance of $2200 will be paid by week ending Friday 10^th September 2010.
5. The AEAA extended the date of a proposed ruling in the hope that proof of the balance of payment would be forwarded to our association but to date this proof has not been received.
6. After contact by the AEAA on 3.9.2010, Vanessa Feltner provided our committee with no satisfactory explanation as to why Janelle Ryan’s outstanding fee has not been paid.

Conclusion:

That Vanessa Feltner has a debt to Janelle Ryan, via her agent Double T’s International Entertainment, for US$3200 of which only US$1000 has been paid, and that despite Vanessa Feltner assurance to pay the balance of US$2200 this has not eventuated to date.

Ruling:

The AEAA Dispute Resolution Committee rules in the favour of Double T’s International Entertainment and suggests that anyone who intends to engage the services of Vanessa Feltner, or her entertainment agency Premier Talent International, does so only after contacting the AEAA to gain an update on the status of this debt.

Post Script: 

On 4.10.2010 the AEAA was informed by Double T's International that on 1.10.2010 all outstanding monies of $2200 was paid by Vanessa Feltner and we thank Vanessa for her cooperation in this matter.
